The purpose of this position is to ensure accurate and timely releasing of material requirements to suppliers to meet production schedules, and provide planning systems support and enhancements of all related Material Control system issues. Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years in a Manufacturing environment Proven working experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends. Strong analytical skills, self-directed, and task oriented. Effective communication skills (Listening, Verbal, Written and Presentation), with the ability to maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers. Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office software. Authorized to work in the United States Responsibilities Maintain proper levels of MP raw material inventory Negotiate the delivery date, follow up on the past due orders and manage Supplier Performance Resolve possible shortage of components to avoid production interruptions while minimizing the expedited freight cost. Manage Design Change and Built Out timing to minimize excess inventory Enter the packing slips into the receiving software Other duties assigned as Assigned by the Department Manager Requirements Minimum
