We are seeking a Recreation Therapist to join our team and provide recreational therapy services to geriatric patients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing recreational activities that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of the patient.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, a strong understanding of geriatric care, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement recreational therapy programs for geriatric patients.
Assess the needs of geriatric patients and develop individualized plans to meet those needs.
Provide individual and group recreational therapy sessions.
Lead activities designed to improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being of geriatric patients.
Monitor the progress of geriatric patients in recreational therapy programs.
Maintain patient records and document progress in accordance with state regulations.
